Indrani Datta (Chaudhuri) is a lecturer in the Department of English, Vidyasagar University. She is a Research Scholar in the Department of English, University of Calcutta, working on Arab-American culture and literature and Diasporic Studies for her Ph.D. thesis. She has been a Fulbright Doctoral Fellow, 2007-08, affiliated to the Department of Comparative Literature, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She has published some research articles in national peer-reviewed journals. Some of her articles, on topics related to her research project, have been accepted for publication in international journals like International Journal for Humanities, Diaspora and Diacritic. Currently she is engaged in two book-projects, entitled "Other Feminisms" and "Those Forgotten Liaisons".
